Unique LED stone enables new outside and inside lighting applications, with less installation

Last years there has been achieved a tremendous progress in the development of the LED lighting technique. Herewith it has beco- me obvious that this technique will offer unknown opportunities in divers fields. Completely new applications of the LED lighting are offered by ISOLA BELGIUM with a bracket in the shape of a stone where in eight LED’s are included. This LED stone can be manufactured in all measures. Remarkable with this bracket is especially that it is equipped with a solar cell, that delivers the necessary electricity. By doing so, the LED-stone can operate fully autonomously, without any further energy supply. An integrated battery takes care of the storage of energy, generated by the solar cell. The LED’s can burn with the during daytime stored energy and so be used for divers lighting purposes. The main advantage of the solar LED lighting is that no electricity at all is being used. But probably even more important is that it does not need to be fixed to the lighting system so that less installation work is needed and the usual costs are much lower.

This makes the LED-light much more interesting for divers outside apllications. In the so presented form –as a stone—there are accor- ding to Mr Blocken, General Director of ISOLA BELGIUM, a number of situations where this LED-lighting is appropriate, e.g. campings, parking grounds, parks, sport facilities, sidewalks, garden lighting, drives to garages, stairs, in and around swimming pools, pedestrian crossing, emergency lighting in flat halls, emergency exits, cinemas, children's bedroom, lighting in houses without elec- tricity (e.g. Africa), ... but of course one can think of many other applications.

Preferably placed at places with direct sun light, for maximum energy charging, can also be charged in shadow, but lighting period than will become shorter.
Maintenance : dirt and dust to be removed with water, if necessary with soap, polish with car polish wax for gleam effect, this will also bounce off dirt.
